Corey’s Diary January 14th, 2014: I Got Some Great News Last Night

Dear Diary,

As Mondays go, it was a pretty typical day. However, I got some great news last night. We have been waiting for the results of our Chihuahua’s biopsy. He has a swollen lymph node and the vet wanted to make sure it wasn’t cancer.

Turns out it is NOT cancer. I was so relieved. Jeff and I were not ready for that. Dr. Flores just wants to keep any eye on it from here on out.

There was some other good news as well. I started my cat on a new pill specifically for a bowel disease. After only a couple of days he has had some healthy movements. That might be TMI, but if you had to clean that litter box you would understand my joy.

Erin, Bobbie and I signed up for a painting class at Pinot’s Palette in the Galleria. We have been talking about doing forever and we finally decided on a date.

I am looking forward to it. I need to get out and do more instead of just talking about doing stuff.

For example, my roller blades are gathering dust. Oops.
