Corey’s Diary January 17th, 2013: I Had A Visitor Just Before Midnight Last Night

Dear Diary,

We had a huge staff meeting yesterday to basically go over the last year and talk about our goals for 2013. It is always fun to get everybody together and nice to see all that has been accomplished. Plus, it’s exciting to see what is planned in the next couple of months and what we have to look forward to.

I grabbed a quick beer with Erin Austin afterwards. I love getting my girly time in. But then I had to get home to my pups. I was a single mom this week and I don’t like to leave them for too long.

Jeff got home just before midnight last night. I was so happy he was home safe. His flight got delayed, so he took a cab home from the airport. It was so relaxing to feel him beside me. I missed him so much. I hope he doesn’t have any trips coming up….unless, I am going with him.

Tomorrow is going to be great. We are broadcasting live from the Cracker Barrel in Kingwood off 59. We are doing the entire morning show from there. Plus, we will have George Strait tickets to give away every thirty minutes. He will be closing out Rodeo March 17th. I can’t believe Rodeo is just around the corner. Can’t wait!
