Corey’s Diary February 24th, 2014: Open Mouth Insert Foot

Dear Diary,

I love to make people laugh. It is like a drug. I love to laugh as well, a person’s laughter can be infectious.

Well, Jeff and I had dinner at his boss’ house Saturday night.

It was a fantastic group of people.

The food was delicious, our hosts were most gracious and time just flew by.

We sat around the dinner table and swapped stories. We were all laughing so hard. Or so I thought.

When I woke up on Sunday, I was recalling some of the subject matter.

And then I had to wonder if I steered the conversation into questionable territory. Because I throw caution to the wind when it comes to comedy.

I would rather make you laugh than worry about how classy I might be coming off. Or perhaps I should say classless?

It’s a good thing Erin took me Lakewood Church yesterday. I think I needed it.

Thanks, Joel Osteen. I needed that.
