WTH? Can you imagine coming home to find your entire back yard as a giant pile of dirt? That’s what I came home to last night. Someone has some “splaining” to do!
I got home from work last night to look out my back window and see this giant mess. At first I thought it was a weird reflection on my window, but then I opened my back door and saw just how very real it was.

Sad thing is I had no idea why it was like that. I never received a notice on my door or anything. Fortunately and unfortunately I looked to see that all my neighbors were in the same boat as me.
I was able to get a hold of my neighbor who let me know what was going on. Apparently, there was a note that was left on our gate, but I never got mine. Not sure if it flew away or my dog got to it before I did.

My neighbor said they only got their note a few days ago. Which I wish they would’ve given more warning than that. I just spent my hard earned money having what little yard I do have on getting it re-sodded. I even sent out a tweet last night to the City of Houston because I was annoyed.
