I never had any doubt that Miranda Lambert could hold her own. This tough east Texas girl knows how to use a gun and apparently knows how to use her fists if need be.
Remember Chad Kroeger from Nickelback? Well, apparently he got a little miffed at Miranda for not doing a shot with him. In the latest edition of Rolling Stone Magazine Miranda’s husband, Blake Shelton tells a story about how a bar brawl between Miranda and Chad all went down.
“People always try to pop off or call her bluff at bars. One of them, I don’t want to say the guy’s name, but he’s the lead singer of a very popular rock band. His initials are C.K.”
According to Us Weekly Magazine, who ran the original story in 2010, it was back on Miranda’s 27th birthday at Winners Bar & Grill in Nashville. Chad wanted to do a shot with Miranda. When she refused Chad got angry, called a B!%*H, and threw the shot in her face . That’s when the brawl broke out with Blake stepping in to protect his then fiance.
At the time, Blake’s people said that he didn’t throw in punches and that he was just being a peacemaker.
Like they say, “Don’t Mess With Texas!” Especially don’t mess with women from Texas!
