Corey’s Diary August 21st, 2013: The Cough Heard Round The World

Dear Diary,

I am assuming everyone is totally sick of hearing me talk about my pneumonia. I am as well. Yesterday, I spent 80% of the day coughing. I would like to think this means I am getting better. That the coughing is getting stuff out of my lungs, but man, it is uncomfortable.

I came down with the pneumonia July 21st. Enough already. Let’s wrap this up.

It feels weird, though. My right lung is sore…I don’t even know if that makes sense.

I miss Erin. I would get to see her everyday, but now that she is on the air from 2PM to 7PM. We are having lunch today before her shift to catch up. It’s been too long.

We are also going to do some painting Friday night with Intern Bobbie. We are going to have a girls’ night at Pinot’s Palette. I am looking forward to it, I have never done that before.

I used to paint all the time and I really enjoyed it. I am hoping Friday night will get me back into an artistic state of mind.
